Tari acts like he was drafted top 5. Didn't start in college (regardless of the reason why) but has the audacity to be pissed he's not starting in the NBA after being injured a good chunk of every season he's been a Rocket. Make it make sense.

He's going to learn the hard way to stop letting his mother influence his mind and decisions. She's probably in his head after every game. He could have been a $20 million/year man if he just stuck to what he was great at - being the clean up man.

The guy was leading the league in 3pt % to start the season...

Classic case of do u pull the guy - or let him play through it... ?

Bari had a couple weeks where he was crap - and now he's been a def positive...

Folks lost their chit when Reed got pulled for screwing up - even though he still got his minutes in the next game....

DFS has looked like crap... do u just drop 12M out of your rotation and forget about him?

Tari pisses me off - but i also feel for the dude... imagine having Momster in yer ear your whole life... lol

Love Tari’s motor. It’s what makes him special. And I love how much work he’s put into his shooting. But he’s too in his head. I’ve seen Tari make more mental mistakes this yr than years past, and he’s always had that flaw. It’s fair to ask why tjat part of his game hasn’t progressed instead of regressed. And his attitude is the worst I’ve seen it watch him for 4 seasons. I think it’s very much tied to health and the lack of contract security. I also think he’s not happy with his role, though he has no reason to be.

If Tari can’t get healthy mentally and physically, it might be time to move on. Unfortunately if it is time to move on, we might have waited too long. Not sure about what’s possible via trade in restricted free agency. If we sign him we can’t trade him for a while. I suspect the org wants to keep him, but they better understand how much he wants relative to what he’s worth and what the market will bear, as well as what it means if he takes the qualifying offer. In short, don’t lose Tari for nothing. I’m absolutely confident they will not over pay. But they better find a good resolution and not mismanage this situation.

Resigning Tari on DFS money would be ideal, but we need an attitude reset if he’s gonna stick with the team.

I’m always the one that says hindsight is pointless but in retrospect, I would’ve included Tari somehow to bring in Kevin and try to keep Brooks or number 10.

The perfect example of Tari playing for himself and not for the team. The kind of player you don’t want on a team and will cost you games.

lol no ****. Geez. Tari has sucked but I’m still hoping we get him extended on a good contract. I think a lot of this is him playing through injuries and forcing it due to overthinking his contract situation. He’s trying to do too much. I think when we hopefully get him back on a reasonable contract he will relax and fit in better.

Even on the inbounds play where he's yelling at Jabari to throw him the ball, what exactly is he gonna do if he catches the ball that close to the baseline? He's made dumb decisions before in previous seasons, but it been on another level this season. Almost like he's sabotaging.

I don’t think Tari is getting more than 2 years 20 mill on another team. Prove it deal.

Bro bet on himself and lost. Someone will give him a 2 year, $20 million type "prove it" deal, and it won't be us.

I think the Rockets would sign him up to about 14M over several years, with the last year or two a team option.

lol … we will not stop talking about him being lkr

Is somebody paying you guys to ho my child? Lmao If you are truly a fan, isn’t the goal to win. They won. I drag them during games too. And nobody is harder on my son than I am. But a day later, you’re still talking about an inbound? I also support all of them. Not just my son. What I’m seeing is gossip pages. This ain’t hoop. I happen to believe in this team as a whole. And you can downplay his work, call him names. The block is hot for him right now. I get it. But nothing you can do Will erase the work that he’s done to get us where we’re at. No amount of gossip or agenda. Know that. And the Rockets are gonna be just fine. I know that too. Right now he’s here and we got playoffs coming. We got some real dogs coming up in the next week. Make sure yall get together and draw up some plays for coach.

I used the word cancer for a reason

people are asking if we sign him for low..

    well 1) he’s a RFA

    2) do you really want someone like this on the team? He’s constantly getting into fights with everyone

I remember when people were seriously arguing that we should bench Jabari for Tari. This season Jabari is better in every state besides 3pt% (.371 vs .361) and steals per game.

Tari Eason can do some things well. He is an athletic wing with a lot of length - that hustles. Those types of players are in high demand.

I just don’t know that the Rockets are the right team for him. He is very flawed, and the Rockets have enough of those types of players. He doesn’t understand defensive assignments and free lances a lot. He also isn’t a terrible offensive player but not a plus one either.

Ideally he would have been dealt when it was clear he would extend.

Regardless- I like him, and hope he does well wherever he ends up.

Yeah, I’m sorry, but I think his mom is a real whack job.

somebody correct me if I’m wrong. If she has some truly legitimate career, let me know. I’ve seen her different social media and what she lists as her career paths and they seem kind of odd on the surface level.

seems like the type of parent that identified a pretty unique skill in one of her kids early on and luckily her kid loved the game. All of that is amazing and he seems to be a great character and a teammate. He makes some irrational decisions in his basketball IQ is low.

he has played poorly recently, there was a stretch this year, where he was pretty good. Almost the entire time he has been selfish to where it has hurt the team.

his mom seems to just enjoy the so celebrity of social media and being his mother.

it is one of the things that I hate most about social media is irrelevant people being elevated. You’re rich because your son is an amazing athlete in person. Shut the **** up and stay off the Internet. especially when you don’t have any self-awareness.

She is like the 35-year-old black trans female DD.
