They literally have 5 guys that can score......plus inconsistent Tari...... KD, Sengün, Amen, Reed, Jabari....

The lack of scoring depth is cruel. Same guys have to produce 120 pts night in night out.

Yeah it's actually been a problem since the Silas years that. Even FVV takes really bad angles around a pick and doesn't give himself the separation he could get. It's just crazy to me when you consider the potential of a Reed/KD or Reed/Bari 2 man game. Either the ball handler or the screener is dangerous driving or from deep or even the midrange. It's crazy that's not a huge part of our offensive strategy when you consider our personel. It's the same as using Amen on screens as a lob threat. Dude can jump halfway to space and we don't even run a basic pick and roll with him towards the rim...

Here is a list of dumb things Ime has done and continues to do:

Make KD iso the whole game or make him a pg late in games.
Make Sengun a three point player and not post him up
Have Reed on a tight leash
Make Jabari play 40 minutes when he would go 0-12.
    Play DFS..
Make Amen play a slow tempo game.
Forget about JO, JD, and Capela.
    No timeouts
The worst inbound plays I have ever seen.
    Limit Tari.
    Lack of role player roles.
Play 7-8 players. The JVG and Thiboudeux special.
    No player movement.
    Barely screens.

All this is coaching and not just 5 players that can score excuse

ime aint perfect... but i disagree with a few....

I think early they were experimenting w Sengun as a stretch 4 - so he could play beside Steven and limit his defensive shortcomings... he wasnt bad early but couldnt be consistent... so now its maybe 1 a game and 321 situations...

Whose to say Reeds tight leash didnt mold him correctly... dude was icing his knees and looked to have sporadic confidence early on and occasionally still does... should he have just left him out there to be hunted before he found his stroke and confidence?

Do u just forget about DFS and his 12M roster hit - or do u try to play through it and hope he comes to jesus and can contribute in the post season?

I think JD only has limited available games (4?) before he goes back to G-league... so keeping that as an emergency situation?

    His timeouts suck...

    Limit Tari?

I dont find his rotation to be shorter than most teams - and certainly not shorter than MDA...

Early on our transition game and ball movement scared me bc our guys would constantly screw up... youngsters gotta walk b4 they can run... hopefully we can start using more of both without the turnovers and missed layups...

If you're going to play 2 non shooters at the same time (Sengun/Amen) one of them damn well better be in every screen and roll. That's why KD/Jabari don't set screens, they're 2 of 3 rotation players that can shoot a basketball.

Ive been recommending this. Strategies and peak performance aside, Holiday and Uncle Jeff just know how to play basketball

Coaching is not scheming up any player on offense. It's crashing the boards to hide offense deficiency. Then even with a scheme, Durant actually disrupts it to do things "his way". Basically it's about having players who's offense doesn't "need coaching".
There's Holiday and Uncle Jeff, going outside of the rotation core. Those aren't high performance players. But they still have a higher offensive floor than DFS, Tari & Capela. Might as well give them some burn
