17 points on good efficiency. A -24 in the game. Significantly slower and less coordinated than Fox, Harper, Castle, Champagne, Keldon Johnson, Devin Vassel, and Wemby. Kills flow, disappears, doesn’t even get to the plays yall hate on Tari Eason for making a mistake on, he’s 8 foot away. His comp is Lisa Leslie. WNBA allstar- Tall, solid, good teammate, good jumper, but the speed, strength, and athleticism isn’t there for the men’s game.
He is just inconsistent. I like his athletic gifts and attitude and am glad they got him with that reasonable contract. He just turned 22 and improves a bit every year. Stone didn’t really miss on this one. He is going to be better than Paolo and we had no shot at Chet who should have been the no. 1 pick.
I wish we could clone 29 Jabari’s and trade one to every single other team so Reed Sheppard would have someone he could guard.
2nd best shooter on the team and if Alpi actually passed it to him he would be the #2 / #3 with Amen behind Durant
A great all around game tonight. The main thing I loved was his mentality. He was decisive, aggressive and was just on it on both ends of the court. That’s the only thing holding him back is him being in his head, because he has the physical tools to be a great nba player. He just has to believe it.
lol Bari has averaged about 17/7 the last 15 games while shooting .44 from 3 and dorks like you still talk trash.
JSJ is playing great, I do find it funny that you have abandoned Net Rating when JSJ's teammates (e.g., Sengun, and last 15-20 or so for Tari) are hurting his Net Rating, but championed it when the starting lineup was rolling (e.g., Sengun was playing great). I like Net Rating as a stat, but teammates on the court matters a lot with it. Moreso, than oppenents for the Rockets.
You are right, he’s an efficient shooter and solid player across an 82 game schedule vs the 29 teams in the league. He’s a solid defender on comparable athletes to him. I am also right that he can’t compete athletically with the Spurs and Thunder. That’s not going to change and it matters if our goal is to win a championship. We used to be the team building to take down GSW when they were dominating, now we’re building to take down .500 teams.
I think jabari will be just fine. He might end up having phenomenal value in regard to production and the contract he is on.
Jabari scoring efficiency in the first 3 quarters is great. It falls off the cliff in the 4th In his first 3 quarters he’s shooting 47% from the field and 38% from 3. in the 4th he’s shooting 39% from the field and 30 from 3
I'd be curious to see how all the Rockets players shoot in the 4th quarter. Because the team as a whole is terrible in clutch games.
if Jabari can keep getting a tiny bit better every season it will change the outlook of our team dramatically.
