I cannot begin to see how much the next president will have to UNDO I don't know if we can do it in one presidency . . .even if it is 8 yrs We are in Deep Trouble internationally Rocket River
Lots of things were done that should not have been done, but you can never go home again. The next president needs to deftly take the momentum of history and channel it to go in the right direction instead of trying to turn it straight around. I don't think the next president should spend his time apologizing for illegal wars, rebuilding damaged relationships, re-opening agencies that were shuttered, paying back tariffs, and all the rest. He should move forward and build new things in a hopefully more wise and ethical manner starting from the place he finds us in that moment. We can neither go back nor go forward if every president busies himself trying to undo the last presidency.
There will be so much work, and sadly we only know of a fraction of the BS that's going on now and what happened with DOGE. Fences will need to be mended with our allies, but they have rightly said they will be wary of deals with us simply because you might get an idiot like we have now, for now we are not "The Gold Standard" of democracy, we are nothing but a bully who treats our allies with impunity. I don't think we get all of our trading partners back the way we were, they wont put all their eggs into one basket And we get 3 more years of this BS
