JD Vance is nothing but a boot kissing liar. Nobody needs to portray him as anything else. He was sucking up to Trump hard before being picked as VP. Remember how he even dressed like him going to his hush money trial before he was picked to be VP? Remember how he spewed the racist Haitian lies about eating cats and dogs? He's a disgusting man who has no spine. Sure, he'll try and portray himself differently if he does run for President, but he will just be a spineless suck up who does nothing but lie, just like Trump. He's an opportunist with no true integrity. That won't change, just because he tries to win the votes of his party.

JD Vance’s Fifty Shades of Lies
    AnalysisRodney Kennedy | December 31, 2025

JD Vance sells lies in various shades: Pants on fire, bald-faced lies, falsehoods, conspiracies, half-truths, political lies. The vice president, speaking at the Turning Point USA rally just before Christmas, told more lies in a single speech than any politician not named Donald Trump.

Trump has a few hours to declare victory for the last time and withdraw from this Israel/Epstein war assault, March 20th is so pivotal to the economy, though Iran might not agree unless the deal is sweetened by a trillion$ for damages and such

If your interested, this is the actual Will Durant quote from his book,

“These faiths and Christianity assured their followers that the good spirit would win in the end; but of this consummation history offers no guarantee. Nature and history do not agree with our conceptions of good and bad; they define good as that which survives, and bad as that which goes under; and the universe has no prejudice in favor of Christ as against Genhis Khan.”
    — Will Durant, “The Lessons of History”, 1968

    let’s break this down:
    1. First, I think that’s a misrepresentation of “assurances” made by Jesus, wrt Nature/History keeps the score.
    2. Secondly, good or bad in these terms of “nature” and “history” is really a Divine Determinism argument (ie, “Why does God allow evil” or “Nothing is by Accident” type discussion), which makes Durant’s point “the universe has no prejudice in favor of Christ” a head-scratching disconnect in the context of supreme-being determinism
    3. Thirdly, come on, saying nature/history define good/bad as what survives is a “leap” and a weird way of describing Darwinism, survival of the fittest. It is just a way for the writer to define good and bad, so he can make his next point.
    4. Lastly, it’s just not a sound argument to bring up Jesus/God, yet say Nature keeps the score wrt good/bad via survival. Survival is just Survival…did Darwin even use terms like good and bad?

Bottomline: Durant and Netanyahu are both claiming they can define Good and Evil via survival.

@MadMax, I’m nowhere close to your knowledge on this subject. Would love your interpretation of what Durant said in relation to Jesus.

Requote for convenience for those who want to listen to full comment, again

I don’t need Netanyahu lecturing me on Jesus Christ while he tries to start World War III because genocide isn’t barbaric enough for his taste.

I think you are reading too much into this. Durant is saying that nature doesn’t care about doing good (Jesus) or doing bad (Khan). Nature only cares about survival. In this context survival is good and death is bad. It has nothing to do with the moral judgement of good and bad.
In other words, those who do good could go extinct and those who do evil could flourish. Nature rewards survival, not who is morally good or bad.

You are one dumb ass individual. It’s sad how you incessantly spam everything with propaganda.

Wake up! Or better yet, do everyone a favor and go play in traffic. You’re nothing but trash and a prime example of what’s wrong with society. Deb you’re right there with this pathetic excuse of a human.

Thx for responding. It’s an interesting quote to discuss

I didn’t say anything about morality, though, nor imply Durant did. We can set aside morality in this discussion.

“Nature only cares about survival” is Darwinism. To stretch that to define good and bad is a leap. Is Nature really saying good or bad; or is it just outcomes. Naturalists said best or fittest to survive. So to say, “survival is good, death is bad”, so “bad can be rewarded by survival” … is an equivocation fallacy mixing outcome with behavior, mid argument.

am I still overthinking, or just applying simple logic?

But most interesting to me is Durant saying “assurances that the good spirit will win” conflicts with Nature’s score keeping. If nature rewards survival as good,,,well, uhh, being good without reward is a Jesus thing, you know! :)

Speaking of Netaynhu and his genocide, this article sums up his hypocrisy. Pretty rich, coming from a man who himself has used cluster munitions, and has bombed hospitals, schools, and innocent women and children without blinking an eye for years. That, and shooting the limbs off of so many kids he made Gaza the top country for child amputees.

Israel accusing Iran of lawbreaking is the height of hypocrisy

After years of flouting the UN and Geneva Conventions Israel suddenly has an attack of legal propriety now that it is on the receiving end

These woke scums are the true enemies of America. We would be much better without them. The facts that they are actively rooting for them terrorists just because of Trump tells you a lot about these dirtbags.

As this war continues, a reminder:

The JCPOA kept Iran’s nuclear program boxed in and under international monitoring.

    Trump withdrew from the deal.

Iran, released from those constraints, has since moved to the point where it could have enough enriched uranium for a bomb within months.

The 2025 “12-day war” didn’t change that, and neither has this current war.

A deal was, and still is, the only realistic way to put Iran’s nuclear program back in a box.

Stopping it by force would likely require U.S. troops on the ground to secure the material and dismantle the underlying expertise, a near-impossible task with massive American casualties.

This is now close to an unsolvable problem. Iran is more likely than before to pursue a nuke, though the choice is still theirs, less likely to return to diplomacy, and the US has few real options left.
