Jabari would be looking like a poor man’s Evan Mobley with a player like James harden

harden would coach Jabari on the court. Underrated part of hardens game is he is excellent with young bigs who hate X’s and O’s Verbage likr nik claxton, dayron sharpe, Paul reed and even Christian wood

My work colleagues keep telling me to switch off the games, and it's not because they want me concentrating on my job, it's because the Rockets are sending me into a deep depression. Thanks Kevin!

Lakers are actually a good closing team. Like the opposite of the Rockets, they do NOT give up 4th quarter leads

Lakers problem has been not playing enough defense 1 thru 3 quarters to even get leads. But they're looking like stereotypical waltz through reg season & turn it on late kinda team

Nico Harrison gifted them Luka, they were not this good in the 4th....Luka is great offensively in the 4th and slimmed down recently.

His off the court struggles actually fuels him to do better, unfortunately for the other teams.

I think it's mostly an Ime thing. The roster has his finger prints all over it. Our playing style has his finger prints all over it. I don't know about the rest of the staff, but Royal Ivey is someone I trust. He had the Sudan team looking pretty good in international play.

Did you hear Fred on that podcast saying his job last year was basically to know when to tell the guys "**** Ime, let's do this". I thought that was very telling. Our coach is kindof a blowhard. We've all been around coaches / managers / teachers where their "authority" is the only thing they bring to the table. We badly miss Fred and Dillon.

KD is not a leader, he has the vibe of "I did my job y'all figure it out". It's very tough to expect a bunch of guys 23 and under to ignore the coach and just figure it out themselves, especially with the expectations we have. These guys do not play for each other like they used to. There isn't that element of having each other's back anymore. Bari and Amen don't get into it with other teams anymore. We used to be the ones punking other teams, now we just get clowned and do nothing about it. So yes, the players have a share of the blame as well, but most of our guys are young guys who just want to get better and be coached. This isn't a bunch of headstrong guys who think they already know it all. It's obvious they are only doing what is asked.

As for the front office role in this mess, I absolutely think a change is needed. I think the aftermath of the Chris Paul / Westbrook swap has left them less inclined to meddle with the people they have trusted to do the job. For that reason I am not confident that anything will happen in a timely fashion.

Until then I'll be more of a casual fan. I've tried to watch every second of every game going back to the '96/97 season when I was 9 years old. I can honestly say that the Silas years and this current year have been some of the most challenging for me as a fan to stay engaged. More than the post-Hakeem years, more than the injury riddled Mac/Yao years, more than the Kevin Martin years. It's not lost on me that these uninspiring seasons have come under the Fertitta regime.

I think as locals they actually do love the team and care about the success of it. Honestly, as a fan that's a great place to start when your ownership is emotionally invested in the team and doesn't see it as SOLELY a money-making endeavor. For those reasons I want to give ownership the benefit of the doubt that they'll eventually get it right.

Yes, but you cannot always rely on FVV and Dillon 4ever, those guys are not the future, you have to find ways to get draftees that are mature beyond their age.....right now not that much.

    Honestly...

I'm usually not one to judge a man, whatever, but it's kind of telling that the man blew up his relationship (with a very attractive woman at that) for a coworker. I think normally, that says all you need to know about the man and how he might handle things.

Hey, if he was a player, that's fine, whatever...but he's supposed to be the leader.

He also trash talks opposing players...we've seen him do that several time, what other coach does that?

Lakers are a better team. Lot more offensive fluidity even with Luka isos

Good thing Ayton doesn't even give 1/5th as as much sh** as a "Clint Capela", or they're a top 5 team if he did
