Is it worth salvaging? We know the people don’t like one another. We also know, most won’t work for the greater good by their actions. Weak picks, screens and boxing out. A lot of change is needed for the sake of the team.
I am just enjoying the last two and a half minutes thankfully. I decided to go out and have a beer(s) instead of watching in entirety. This team is broken. Its not anyone's fault other than the all in gamble on FVV who ultimately didnt play a single minute all year. Let's hope we can at least have a few good moments before the early round exit this year.
I said it a week ago and doubling down. Rockets won't see 50 wins this year in the regular season. Need to go 9-5 to make it happen now and they barely have 8 wins in them left. Please just lose out, get a draft pick and start over
He ruined the chemistry of the team. He is a cancer. Everywhere he goes he burns bridges. The guys dont like playing with him anymore, you can tell from their body languages.
Should have been more of a red flag that a guy with his talent was heading to his 4th team in 7 years, I guess. That kind of organization-hopping is usually reserved for roleplayers and journeymen.
I dislike Durant but to his defense, nobody in their right mind (good org) is giving a 37 year old a contract that is beyond 2 years..... Harden had to find out the hard way too. People were overjoyed by Harden, Westbrook and Durant but in reality all those 3 were not real 2 way players......they slacked and were inconsistent.
True, they should have made their due diligence prior to trading for him. Jalen's inconsistency is what to led to this trade for sure. Ime has lost the locker room. Fans should boo this team in the next game and show their frustration.
Coach has let the team get stagnant. Everyone has been delegated their roles and that is that no matter what happens. Injuries are part of the reason/ problem. Stone has churned the players but they can’t get past coach stubbornness. Looking for the hidden gems can’t happen without playing time. (Growth can’t happen without sunlight) My hope is what ever the core is turning into a jewel under the pressures. The bottom line is Stone has to make moves. Everyone needs to have the same goal. Can’t be on a mission with a direction, only one. Hidden agendas kill the mission. Publicly quitting doesn’t help the mission.
Just had an epiphany… The only reason KD is not on the shelf is to pad his already empty stats. We are putting our franchise development on hold so this “team mate” can get his. That is way it unwatchable.
Correct move. I did not watch last night, I had an early train today. I was tempted when the Rockets got back in it but - lol, a close game heading into the 4th? Saw that movie on Monday, we all know what this team is and what their ceiling is at this point. No point in engaging in self harm by watching.
