You're comparing a player that's in Year 5 who was given "the reigns" to become the team's #1 option and countless amounts of opportunities to grow (only to prove that he's no more than an overpaid role player) to a 2nd year player who was drafted to be a role player and played all of 5 mins in his rookie year and still coming off the bench on a tight leash Regardless of Reed's inconsistencies, i trust him more than i'd trust Green.
