the potential un-predictability for the draft is going to be huge. yes, we probably still need some depth but I honestly think the signings are good enough to make other teams think twice about what we are going to do April 23-25
They still need a guard in the draft. Teller is injury prone and older and Ingram has had one good year. They still need a center. They ideally would get another LB. They ideally need an interior DL. They ideally need another capable corner. They need a weapon on offense. They could go lots of directions in the first three rounds and be justified.
I am leaning to this thinking if the guy they want can be had later, but dam I like having a pick on day one, that's half the fun.......Nick is doing his thing and I think he hit on Teller and Blankenship, but we need depth and the future so if it helps get another pick or two lets do it
Price is RB #4 to me (behind Coleman ans Washington) . I wouldnt draft any of these until the 3rd round
I think we actually lean more Seth McGowan, Adam Randall, or Mike Washington (if he falls back to 4th... RN I think he goes 2nd round)
I would do the smart thing and not overreach on a late 2nd round RB at best. The only RB worth drafting in the first round is Love.
That said I still like 1.28 McDonald, DT 2.38 Abney, CB 2.59 Price, HB 3.69 Lew/Hecht, C 4.102 Endries, TE 5th Rd Picks - Best IoL, Slot WR 6/7 - Best Special Teams DB/LB
Yep, dont forget about the TE position being a need. I'm looking at LB Allen being the pick if he's there at 1-28. He's a Meco kinda guy. I would still either go OL or DL in the 1st.
If Love slips to 8-12 range, would you give up your first this year and next to move up? He’s getting Bijan /barkley comparisons.
No, next years draft is deep and really talented. Notice how so far nobody is trading 2027 high picks?
