Time will tell on Maduro. There wasn't a regime change, the VP replaced the President in Venezuela and over time we will learn whether she and her successors will be more stable than Maduro.

As for Iran - the USA is arguably the best empire ever at the first part of war. The USA can come in and remove command, break down communications and governments better than any military ever. The USA will be successful doing that in Iran as well. The problem is that the US has been terrible at the second part of wars, building a successful regime in the conquered nation that will be palatable for the USA. We will likely fail on this point, and we are right now. There is no mass uprising to remove the existing power structure in Iran by the Iranian people. If anything, there are people in the country who dislike us more now. That type of stability is very very dangerous --- from Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya and now Iran. The difference is that Iran has 90 million people in Iran and having instability there is a bad idea.

Well - thirty million illegals did not come and stay in the USA under Biden. That never happened. The USA has like 330 million people, the population of the country did not increase by 10% under Biden.

It's all for optics. If they wanted to close the border under Biden, they would have. Instead they encouraged everyone to come over and claim asylum, leading to 500,000 unvetted illegal entries a month, while pretending to be helpless. With court dates 5-6 years in the future. They do not want to enforce any immigration laws whatsoever, even for criminals as they provide cover for them like Spanberger in Virginia.

For the sake of middle class Americans, you'd start from the ground up and go after fraud and those hooked on the system with fervor. Because it's massive. Once that's cleaned up, instead of 200-500 billion a year to migrants and locals intentionally exploiting the system, then you look at ways to balance the govt budget because you actually get bang for your buck. Unfortunately, we have created a very favorable environment for those looking to exploit benefits due to look the other way mentalities like yours.
