    Game should be umpired by someone of neutral nationality. Dominican Republic was done dirty.

    Meh tomato tomatO.

    Calls were horrible on both sides. Bottom line DR had plenty of opportunities to score in 9 innings. They got 1 run.

    You learn in little league to never put the game in the umpire’s hands when it’s 3-2 with the game on the line.

    Yeah I don't think I've ever seen anyone claim baseball was easy anywhere. Now I have seen people make comments downplaying the athletic abilities of baseball players, especially before analytics, based on guys like Pablo Sandoval and more recently Alejandro Kirk playing.

    We should be glad we're not the corrupt fifa where they overturn a match months later thus taking away a trophy from the match winner.

    Imagine MLB overturning a result months later in a championship game. What a ****ing joke

    Actually, that was different as it pertained to protesting and walking off the field (against the rules and subject to forfeiture). Now if they would have stated a foul should not have counted thus taking away a goal months later then that would be stupid. Either way, Senegal is pretty dumb for doing what they did.

    My dude Morocco missed the PK. They don't deserve to be the champions. FIFA president is friends with the Moroccan leader. This is nothing other than pure corruption

    The fact that team USA had to go with a guy who has started a handful of games as a rookie last year in the biggest game of the tournament is quite laughable. But also, team USA batting looks like the Astros when down by 2+ with the game on the line.
