When you dont foster an environment where they can make mistakes, kinda what happens. I cant imagine the way Ime talks to these guys in the film room.

Are they trying to win games or not? I don't know if I buy that Stone wants Ime to keep starting Tari. I think that's entirely on the coach. But I do think the DFS minutes are being influenced by the front office.

I get that with no Alpi, Tari kinda has to play at least some minutes. It was the same when Sengun was hurt in January and Jabari was still out there despite a horrendous shooting slump. But when we're back at full strength(minus Fred and Steven obviously), there is no excuse to keep starting Tari. Josh or Reed would easily be better options at this point.

Also, Tari's already tanked his value, so that no longer has to be any sort of reason to keep him in the starting lineup. Who the hell is gonna offer him a longterm deal with the way he's played lately and his injury history on top of that?

Hearing that the Rockets are offering a contract similar to Jabrari’s as they view his struggles as temporary and Ime views him as a critical contributor.

There's no way that's true. I don't even think they offered that last offseason when they were at a standstill. And that was BEFORE he missed another month this season due to injury and played like a scrub since the All-Star Break.

Just another fake comment from Imanimal’s fake source or maybe imanimal’s imaginary friend.

Right, tanking Tari's value by starting him in his slump doesn't make sense. If Stone really wanted to lowball Tari, he would tell Ime to bench Tari, not giving him minutes. What if Tari suddenly found his shot and hit 50% from 3 again? How would lowballing work then?

for houston, you have to feel great about tari not getting that extension. However, his trade value has gone down unless you get some team that says "I can fix him" or "we can utilize him better."

For Tari(and his mom), don't get why you woudl turn that contract down especially with his injury history and now his troubling play. Every time he starts, this team and coaching stuff have given up on trying to do something different and they do not believe in the definition of insanity.

Stein: If you're hoping your team makes a play for Houston's Tari Eason ... prepare to be disappointed. Word was emphatically conveyed Monday that any Eason speculation is off target and that the Rockets' fourth-year forward is not available to interested teams in advance of this deadline.

To be fair, even if you 100% plan on trading him you're going to say he's untouchable and no we don't want to trade him.

You don't want it to look like you NEED to get rid of him, you want it to seem like you value everything he does and oh jeez, we'd really hate to get rid of this guy!

Sometimes players are told to their face they are not being traded...then get traded...ask CP3 lol.

If I remember correctly, the contract that Tari was offered was not guaranteed. The Rockets could have cut him at any time.

Eradicate fast athletes attempting to do difficult jobs.

Bring Boban back, sign Angel Reece. See what Robert Horry is up to.

We need efficiency and emotional reactions to shot makes vs shot misses. Don’t get a stop watch and check the 40 times. Don’t tell them to run a slant and see if they’re coordinated enough to catch a ball while running. Don’t watch how other teams operate. Process doesn’t matter, I’m looking for results.

Did it go in or did it not? Answer me that.

If our dribbler and passer isn’t good enough to be the only guy on the team that can dribble and pass, it’s time to move on.

I don’t remember anyone ever saying Tari should get $30 mil. Must have missed that.

The only way to trade him now is via a sign and trade. They will let him go into RFA or offer him a lowball contract. Either way our flexibility about trading Tari has been seriously effected

I don't remember either. But there were people who suggested that he should get at least Jabari level money, which is about 24M per.

At that time, Bari and Tari as about on the same level in terms of on court impact. Some may argue that Tari is better when he was shooting lights out. But Tari has the health risk.

Tari's only hope for a decent contract is by balling out in the playoffs.
