You're a bunch of crybabies, most likely from Turkey, that'll never be happy. We are 3rd in the West WITHOUT our floor general & our 2nd best player playing like a soft flamingo. Our defense has slipped, our offense lacks at times, but we should be a 6th seed when you look at the teams around us. We sucked when Ime got here. He came in turned the organization around immediately. Now his jobs on the line because a bunch of delusional Turkish fans & Reed Sheppard fanatics? No. He can't make Sengun make FTs or play defense nor Reed. Adams is hurt so we can't hide Sengun anymore. We are NOT OKC or SA. Stop whining & just let the man do his job
We ain't winning anything with Ime. I don't see any reason to support a coach when its quite obvious he has major shortcomings. Just because he did better than Silas doesn't give him any legitimacy when the team is moving backwards as the season progresses. And if our whole philosophy of winning the finals is largely based off having a healthy Steven Adams I'll just tell Ime to get the *** out straight away.
This roster isn't good enough to win any championships. Holding Ime accountable to this is delusional. We are a solid young team with one superstar in KD. Our 2 most important veterans are hurt in Adams & FVV. If you told me FVV was out, Sengun disgressing in production, Adams hurt and we're still 3rd in the west I'd tell you Ime's fine
People on here acting like Ime could succeed with KPJ and Daishean Nix as PG, when he has shown he couldn't even coach 3rd pick Reed Sheppard and 4th pick Amen Thompson into a coherent offense. If Ime had to coach those tanking Rockets he'd screw Stone's wife just for an excuse to get out of town. Silas may not be a good coach but you actually think he's the reason the Rockets were losing those games? lol
I don't think Ime is a bad coach per se. If ranked among NBA, probably put him in the top 15 than bottom 15. It's coming down to fit and what a coach can get out of his group. For example, Brad Stevens was a solid coach, but in his last coaching year, he wasn't getting the most out of his guys. Brad understood this, and bought Ime in. A defensive minded team is fine if we can achieve it. But are we top 3, top 5, top X in defense? And if the defense is suspect, but team is spending all that energy on D, and still resulting in dead legs, no lift for 3's... that plus a stagnant offense is a lose-lose on both sides of the ball. If the team is to re-tool the "core", I'm worried we're going to do it only for a 90's defense style team, instead of a balanced identity. If Ime can't pivot, then Stone needs to, if Stone doesn't or can't, then Patrick or someone else have to take over.
