This is not the recipe I used before (I'll let my mom find it, maybe, someday)

It's very similar and similarly simple.

Irish Bread.

But mark the Rustic, haggis-fed,
The trembling earth resounds his tread,
Clap in his walie nieve a blade,
He’ll make it whissle;
An’ legs, an’ arms, an’ heads will sned,
Like taps o’ thrissle.

Ye Pow’rs wha mak mankind your care,
And dish them out their bill o’ fare,
Auld Scotland wants nae skinking ware
That jaups in luggies;
But, if ye wish her gratefu’ prayer,
Gie her a Haggis!

I may have even already posted this in this thread, but for an entire nation renouned for it's luck, the Irish have collectively had some pretty unlucky breaks pretty over the centuries.

This is what I think of when I hear "The Luck of The Irish".
