[War] Trump declares war on Iran for regime change

I'm afraid we ended up with another North Korea situation, where nukes were acquired after a U.S. administration tried gung-ho diplomacy. I highly doubt Iran would sit idle and not pursue a nuclear bomb for survival, now that it has faced a devastating bombing campaign and an elective war started by the U.S. and Israel.

 

That's pretty bleak ugh.

Trump would disown his own children if he thought he could get a news cycle out of it so yeah I think it's certainly possible that Trump could turn on Bibi, but I think him and Putin are the two that are most likely for him to start rage tweeting at because he acts as though Putin and Bibi have dirt on him or something.

I think we've already seen Trump do the "Israel's not in charge, I'm in charge" shtick which nobody buys. However I think he'll just do that more and more of just trying to lie it into existence in people's mind.

If Bibi went totally rogue and dropped a nuke on Tehran I actually believe Trump would want FULL credit for it, and would say it was him that did it. He knows he's married to whatever Israel does and so he might as well claim it as part of his worldshaping legacy.

I don't think Bibi is crazy enough to drop a nuke, and I have to believe there are some military checks and balances in Israel where he couldn't just do it himself without a whole slew of rational leaders in Israel standing in his way. The entire world would then turn against Israel, and the US. The global economy would crash. It would be a world changing disaster. I cannot for the life of me understand why people would not stand in the way to ensure Trump and Bibi wouldn't do something that stupid... but we are already here so who knows.

So, the way I read this is that Iran has placed mines but Trump can't say there are any because that would spike oil prices and he really wants that to not happen. "Please undo that thing you did so I don't have to talk about it."

If so, this is an incredibly weak position for the guy who started the war and another example of the utter lack of planning and seriousness.
