Petroleum is used for a lot more than power generation, think petrochemicals, plastics and agriculture which China use heavily in all products.

Solar is 10% of China's consumption and expected to grow to 20% by 2030. 60% is powered by coal.

Natural gas/petroleum account for 6%. This isn't going to have any effect on dollar domination.
