I can't imagine a single millionaire (most of whom are just upper middle class, not wealthy) staying in NYC if this gets close to passing. Things are gonna get really bad when the people that generate revenue flee. A 750k inheritance cap is a deal breaker for everyone.

Save costs? Not sure what's more disgusting to Americans. This is a hard one: 1- Spending $93 billion in one month at the Pentagon, including $9 million on crab and lobster, $15 million on ribeye steak, and so on - largely due to the "use-it-or-lose-it" government budget rule. 2- Eating on the floor with paper plates and no shoes. With $40 trillion in debt and $1.2 trillion in annual interest, Americans should be disgusted that government agencies rush through spending at the end of a budget period - blowing through taxpayer money rather than letting it roll back and reduce the deficit.
