Tari leaving his man wide open from 3 for no reason after a great game is truly the Tari Eason experience.

 

-20 for the game yet all his teammates has at +15 difference. He needs to play inside and get rebounds instead he shoots outside, 1 less offensive rebounder when he shoots and he is not a guard player. The way he shoots no chance to he gets a rebound

Kings with 55 rebounds and Rockets shooting FT pct. is less than opponents is problematic

Tari should never let his man shoot a wide open 3 when a 2 cant win but a 3 will win. His late game defending is offensive

This game is again on Ime.
1. How do you keep Reed in the game when he is getting targeted and losing every time down the floor? They don’t come back if Amen and Okogie are guarding the perimeter.
2. The Kings obviously saw how the Pelicans played Durant close and late and went with the same strategy. Ime just keeps Durant initiating every time down the court down the stretch. You would think that the team would be prepared for the inevitable double teams coming his way or would realize he is really bad at passing in that situation.
3. Durant and Amen execute a perfect PnR and then never try it again.
4. Having Durant run the offense while Amen wastes away in the corner is beyond stupid. You can’t drive and dish if you don’t have anyone that can drive.
5. Zone defense, really?
6. How many years have we failed to learn how to execute an in-bounds play.
7. Substitutes Tari in for the last play who has a history of really stupid plays down the stretch and have him guard Shroeder.
8. Ime is a terrible bench coach.

 

We need a damn point guard…

 

Agreed! These last few close games falls on Ime's lack of late game adjustments...

 

Amen was killing the full court press...should've kept Amen in attack mode because they didn't have an answer for him

 

This late game execution is Kevin McHale level bad.

Insult to Kevin Mcchale. He had a brilliant coaching moment in game 6 vs LaC that alone trumps fraudokas entire career.

 

Dang... The Rockets got cooked by Dennis Schroeder and Russel Westbrook. With the Rockets length, they should have absolutely zero issues with players like this.

 

I have no doubt that Kevin McHale has better adjustments than Ime. In addition, our role players like Band Brothers played really great under McHale coached.
