Who's mad? LOL. I don't care, at all, if people criticize the governor of California. I will always think it's pretty weird if you don't live there or have some strong connection to the state. We should close prisons. We should replace much of our carceral system with corporal punishment. You don't need to house someone on the taxpayer's dime for months or years because they stole someone's car, you just whip them 20 or 30 times and they will learn not to do it again. Training through pain infliction has been successfully used on humans and animals for thousands of years.

 

So studies show that the certainty of being caught outweighs the severity of punishment when it comes to deterring crime.
