Let’s see what they do as a counter to free him up. But yes. Expect him to not be denied 2 halves.

 

Why can’t Amen beat anyone off the dribble? And when he has nowhere to go he just throws up wild fadeaways or turn around jumpers. We saw this last summer when he trained with Davion Mitchell. He doesn’t have a gather move and doesn’t necessarily change directions or draws foul well.

 

Taking out Reed put that game in reverse for a bit. Outstanding defense though.
Alpi has been hit across the face in half of the games. Craig Biggio stuff

 

If we were up by 30 I'd be more happy.... 17 is meh....

1st half comments on the Cavs:

Donovan Mitchell is allergic to Amen Thompson. He consistently avoided attacking him and the one time he did it was ownership by Amen. The Rockets also targeted him and clearly got into his head. I expect him to pop off at some point in the 2nd half.

Evan Mobley is only Cavs player that raised his intensity on offense when the Rockets started pulling away. I respect that.

It almost seemed like the Cavs weren't even prepared to play. But this is the NBA and I'm sure the 2nd half will be different.

Unfortunately, I will miss the 2nd half. I'm trusting you guys to maintain this lead. Don't let me down.
