    I don't recall hearing this tune by Buck Owens on AM radio during the '60's, but Act Naturally and I've Got a Tiger by the Tail were top forty hits.



    Now for something completely different, and more in tune with what I was listening to when Bubble Puppy came out with this psychedelic classic. The band played at a party I went to at the old Weingarten mansion in the neighborhood across the bayou from the side the UH central campus is on (that was a convoluted description of a location!). Anyway, it was a wild party and several of us sat around on the lawn with the band, passing this and that.

    They were 90s. As for the song, ten years earlier...



    I think there wa an even earlier song from the 60s with the same riff but i can't recall it.
