I was screaming at the TV tonight, "Whose gonna act like the Alpha on this team and take charge of this $hit show?!!"

One man rose to the occasion.

    Jack McVeigh.

McVeighs always get big results in OKC.

Let's see how he does elsewhere.

Solves all problems. Gets the job done! Soon he will date Margot Robbie when she hears about him.

Great pickup by the Rockets! He is a vet and very consistent, perfect for when the starters aint cutting it and the team needs a shot in the arm.

Seeing him play should give Jabari pointers on how he should be acting on offense. Mcveigh had the same points in half the time playing with scrubs as Jabari did playing with the starters. The reason is Mcveigh is active moving off the ball and gets open by himself in spots where the passer can easily give him the ball whereas Jabari just camps a spot like a baby bird waiting to be fed by his mom.

Real question because I have no idea how much of the play on the court is dictated by the coach and system: do the players have the freedom to be cutting, moving without the ball, settin/using off-ball screens as they wish? I am regularly getting frustrated by several players, including Jabari and Green by their lack of movement off the ball, I just never know, if that is because of gameplan/coaching, or because of them. Then someone like Cam comes in and does exactly that...

Cam shot worse than Green. Green was 3/12, Whitmore was 2/10. I dont think Green and Cam differ much in terms of moving off the ball, they are both bad at it.

Reed Sheppard is the best guy we have moving off the ball cuz thats his role in college.

You know he would probably get a lot of run on some playoff teams but the Rox have so much young talent that needs playing time, where is he going to find minutes?

We would need to clear out players like Brooks, or Eason, or Amen, before he would even see the floor and that ain't happening.

I know he hit one big shot in a meaningless preseason game against 3rd stringers but have any of yall watched this man try to play defense yet? The thing holding him back is not Rockets depth.
