It has been a harsh season and even him averaging 32 ppg and 39% from 3 is hardly moving his averages past his 2nd year.

That showed you all how much damage 2 and a half months of soulsearching did to his averages.

 

Yeah, I mean, that's the thing we can't forget....he was absolutely pathetic damn near all season, while he's currently having the best stretch of his entire career, it's already too late for him to make up for how bad he was this season overall.

That said, if he keeps this up for the rest of the season, it gives some hope that he might turn around his career so it's worth keeping him the one final season to see if he can be this guy for a full season.
