    C.J. Stroud completed air yards in the last 3 games: 269, 274, 265.

    Patrick Mahomes have 3 games with 260+ completed air yards in his entire career. Watson, Tua, Josh Allen and Joe Burrow have 2 each. Justin Herbert have none.

    We are witnessing something special.

    CJ The Great. Is 418 yds away from passing sage rosenfels for 5th on the Texans all time passing list. He’s 2 td passes away from passing Brian Hoyer for 6th on Texans all time list.

    This is very sad...

    It will be nearly impossible, I think, for Texans fans to properly rate Deshaun Watson. But if CJ is this good again next year, I think a very strong case could be made he would jump to 2nd-best QB in team history. Matt Schaub is not *better* than CJ Stroud - but, statistically, he'll have a fairly large advantage - but 3, maybe 4 years of Stroud at/near this level puts him at #1.

    It does seem like CJ is looking for 20+ air yards every time he drops back.

    I wonder if defenses will start to take that away from him. He mentioned that the Falcons were effective at that.
