Also we are 13-10 when Framber starts

So when Maldanado catches anyone else we are 33-31, an 83 win pace
Yea because Tucker and Yordan struggle badly vs LHP lol

While I agree with using a with or without approach, there is still a lot of randomness with it. Last time I checked, Julks was something like +20 wins while the team scored in the high 4 runs per game and gave up around 3.5 runs per game. I'm pretty sure a lot of that was Dusty refusing to play Meyers and Chas together when Diaz caught, but that was still a very odd pace the Astros were on when Julks played.

To me, Diaz's with/without data shows Maldy being great at defense is not evident this season and wasn't evident with Castro either.

    This is perplexing as well

When Dusty starts Diaz, it's not in the 8 or 9 hole spot...it's the 5 or 6 hole spot.

I mean, agreed. sure. But he was asking if we were just going to b**** after every loss and my point was we play like a juggernaught with one and like a mediocre team with another and that can be largely attributed to their respective contributions, both offensively and defensively.

Yeah kinda proves who is light years better with the bat. Even Dusty knows it. Does Dusty look at defensive stats?

Junior Valentine the one who called the balk on Stanek during the Dodger series. Also called that badly called Yankees game if I remember right.

Thats why tucker should bat 2nd instead of the double play machine. Its not rocket science. Should be Men on 1st and 2nd nobody out. Oh well. 2 outs bases empty.
