    there are precedences in the broadcasting / MLB arena

    • in a national televised interview, Al Campanis, the Dodgers GM, saying that the blacks don't have the necessities to run baseball teams
    • in a live broadcast, MSNBC anchor Alison Morris used the N-word to describe Kobert Bryant

    Don't they always refer to the negro league in this fashion? I swear I've heard a bunch of white announcers say this.... I think he should be put in jail..

    while the greatest Black Pitcher for the A's said he shouldn't be suspended

    Alison Morris did not use ****** to describe Kobe Bryant. She said "Los Angeles Nakers" and then immediately said "Lakers". She was immediately asked about it and said she started to say "Knicks" but knew it was "Lakers" after she opened her mouth.

    She should have called him a rapist - because that is what he was.

    Wow, that was a slip of the tongue and he seems to be genuine when he apologized. I hate to see anyone fired for a mistake, a suspension is in order but dont fire the guy

    It might’ve been a Freudian slip it might’ve been a slip of the tongue. He apologized and I don’t care about the A’s anymore than I did before.

    Imagine losing your job because of sensitive wokies, who cares if it was a mistake or he was listening to gangster rap earlier. He should be able to say whatever he wants. They didn't even let him explain if there was emphasis in the gaaa at the end....
