I mean it's all relative. American cops don't unload mags at the same rate as Brazilian cops. I guess that's a win for the good ol USA.

 

They hardly ever. It's not relative. They hardly ever period. They make over 10m million arrests a year

Fake or a more nuanced take is "a lot of petty laws that disproportionately harm poor people".

 

Bro police respond when someone calls them.

 

Sometimes it depends on who calls them and from where.

 

And they don't always arrest people. Regardless, they aren't making up stuff. There are a lot of arrests because for a wealthy industrialized nation we have a lot of crime.

We have a big uptick in violence since COVID. Period. Law enforcement didn't cause society's problems regardless of how you feel about them

 

Are you suggesting there is only one cause for societies problems?

All of society bares some responsibility, including law enforcement.
