    Goodrum sucks and it's a joke that Baker hit him in the 2 hole but he had one more hit than Bregman and Gurriel. Still too many regulars struggling but Baker's lineup construction doesn't help.

    I mean, he got on twice so he wasn't the issue. Bregman and others decided they weren't interested in driving in runs today.

    That too but this team struggles close and late anyway, no matter who is hitting. Leaving runners on has been an issue for a few years now, as well as timely hitting in close games. Lots of season left though. Hopefully, this gets fixed somehow. Not sure how though.

    Keeping everything else the same, switching the results of Tucker's ABs for Goodrum's this past game would lead to a 2-2 game except maybe Tucker gets a hit in the 9th with the extra AB.
