Am I a bad person for thinking the Singles album is pretty good?

Great underrated and unknown grunge bands:

    Tad
    Skin Yard
    Gruntruck
    Love Battery
Mad Season (supergroup that only did 1 album but had Layne Staley and members of Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees)
Green River (members would eventually become part of Mudhoney and Pearl Jam)

Some of the “post-grunge” bands were okay in Bush (they did have like one really good album), Candlebox, and Live. We won’t discuss any other “post-grunge” bands, lol.

They had some grunge albums and were a definite influence but they also had a lot of other stuff that wasn’t grunge. But I listen to some of their grungey stuff like Stoner Witch and Bullhead from time to time.

Forgot to mention the female grunge - L7 (the best), Babes in Toyland (also strong), and of course, Hole (the most overrated) although “Live Through This” is a good album.

Retrospectively, I like '90s STP a lot more. Their music holds up better in my opinion. Post-90s, Pearl Jam is still putting out good music and STP faded away, largely because of Weiland's passing.

I remember buying this and tool undertow the same day thinking the name sounded similar (a noun and something hard) I had heard of them both before then. This is the only song I ever really liked from helmet though.

Hole ("Live through This" is amazing)

    Blood Circus

    Helmet

    Willard
