Not that accurate. We have the folks (me) that's say our team sucks, and then we have dem delusional folks thinking we r a playoff team/enough talent to make it into playoffs

WTF? We are a playoff team... we just need to go on a 19 game winning streak. Why are you hating on our clear potential that's about to unfold after we win this game? We're basically the 2022 NBA Champions, but we have to figure it out.. ya know what I'm mean?

It's hard to get excited since we're back to losing by 10 every game. Everyone knows that our unforced turnovers and porous D are major problems (together with being so small at multiple positions). All of that has left us with a gunslinger approach where we hope to outscore people.

If somehow we could make 5 more 3s a game that would get us closer to scoring enough points. But of course, that would mean that the Rocket's shooters would have to be hot. Looking at the stats of the last 5 games in this losing streak:

• Gordon is doing his part (24-45 on 2-point shots, 11-24 on 3s).
• Brooks (12-42, 28.6% from 3) is simply ice cold, and he only has 2 FG attempts in the last 5 games that aren't 3s). He's also collected 1 offensive rebound in the last 5 games which just indicates how far away from the rim he's been (figuratively and literally).
• Nwaba offers little punch while he's on the court (12-29 on FGs, 41.4% but 2-5 from 3 in five games), but he does get in the fight for boards and gets his hands on a few steals
• Wood is shooting 37.5% from 3 in the last five games (9-24). He also has 12 total assists in that period.

Perhaps getting Matthews back in the rotation might help. With the little bit of time that he's had off, maybe his percentages can improve. In his last 7 games, he was 11-39 from 3 (28.2%).

 

Jalen hot streak continues?? I think so!
