I'm not sure if that team can contend if Green is in the starting 5. (okay, yes, I'm trolling this time).

Green and Sengun will get at least until next year to show what they got.

KMJ or Tate might also be around when the Rockets become a contending team. But I doubt that they'd have major roles.

All the other guys, I think, will be gone by then.

I went through a phase of bitterness posting the last few days… I’ve now reached the last stage of grief acceptance lol

We need to get JG into a position to excel I think he needs to play behind a Bradley beal and learn his ways, we don’t have that kind of a vet though it’s gonna be hard. I don’t see a pathway for him to excel except time perhaps, maybe he can learn the game himself without a vets tutelage, that’s a tough ask though I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Maybe one day he does develop into a great championship quality scorer and playmaker, he’s shown some good basic play making.

    Welcome to the dark side.

Green will be fine once he grows stronger and the Rockets can provide spacing by way
of 3-pt shooters. As it's Jalen Green's responsibility to improve his passing, scoring, FT's,
rebounding......Tate, Kenyon need to improve their 3-pt shooting.....Armoni Brooks needs
    to improve his defense.

Things will get better over time. Green is under contract for another 4 years....only 19 now.

    Green
    Holmgren
    2023 #1 overall pick
    2024 #1 overall pick
    2025 #1 overall pick.

And even then, give ^ like 5 years, and we'll be golden.

Sounds like what the Sacramento Kings thought!
Eventually someone will call the Rockets the place where basketball goes to die at that rate.

    Sengun-C
    banchero-pf
    Tate-sf
    Kpj-sg
Maybe we trade Green and wood for a pg.
