    I am still amazed at just how ****ing stupid, not brain-stupid but baseball-stupid, Jose Altuve is.

    He is the single most frustratingly unaware/uninstinctual/uncerebral talented baseball player I've ever seen in my life. And I've seen a lot of them.

    And he's a great player and I love him.

    He had 1 pitch to win the game, all he had to do was not move, and he said nope

    Then why the **** are you wearing the pad?

    Padres just totally stole this game. For a couple of reasons.

    Didn't even have to lean in, just a slight lean back and it was far enough inside to hit him. Not jump back like a flaming spear is coming at his head.
