    Don't make me get into a semantic argument ... google is an OED word, like xerox. An Idiom is a group of words.

    but, feel free to expand the Idiom thread to include words that might get the dreaded -- † -- put in front of them by OED.

    Also Seasonal (winter) items are still in peak demand and they are generally restocking instead of trying to clear inventory. But if they had a bad Christmas, you do indeed see a lot of sales around now.
