He won’t fire him, since he forced that WB trade along with James.

    Tilman should evaluate himself.

Moreyball isn't Tilmans fault. Bring in a real basketball guy that knows X's & O's and that'll give this franchise a new face. Shane Battier should be getting a call

He and Harden colluded behind Morey’s back....seriously doubt that!!! $ is the only reason he ain’t going anywhere. We need to bring in a coach who can tell Morey what we need, not the other way around.

I mean this was a Harden-Tillman failure - trading for WB not only made us a worse team, but it also mortgaged the future away.

He still owes Morey for four more years. He'll want to see him working for that money. Will probably hire his kid as the official Assistant GM in the meantime to get him ready.

    Tilman:
    • No more China (or political) tweets
    • Keep kissing my ass, privately & publicly; tell them how great I am, how I'm willing to do whatever it takes, will spend whatever is necessary
    • Keep us in playoff contention
    • You can keep running your garbage system

I don't think Morey hated the idea of Westbrook, CF went overboard on that.

He wasn't really overjoyed but he accepted it.

Morey could only control a drafted guy.

And mold that guy into a star.

Then he trades for another young star.

Sounds like what the Mavs are doing.

Moreyball has nothing to do with x's and o's, Moreyball is just an emphasis on only taking efficient shots. It's up to the coach to determine the x's and o's - how we get those shots and what the plays look like. If a coach can come in and demonstrate the ability to produce efficient shots from his playbook, those plays will get used. There are a lot of different ways to get good shots.
