Sorry San Diego, no hate for you, we loved what you did to the Rangers but the 2020 Astros F-U tour is moving on to your city, so...

Should be a good pitching matchup tonight with McCullers going against Richards. Need the bats to continue to stay hot.

Houston, we have a problem is to Houston as Anchorman quotes is to San Diego. I think Houston got the better end of the deal.

Not that he's contributed a whole lot, but the Astros have averaged 11.5 runs per game with him hitting cleanup this season

Dusty Baker said he is "not real optimistic" about Michael Brantley coming off the injured list tomorrow.

Dusty Baker had no update on Alex Bregman or Josh James. James went back to Houston to get looked at further, Baker said. The team hasn't put James on the injured list yet, but Baker said that is likely to come.

Josh Reddick on Kyle Tucker: "I told him yesterday he owed me dinner since I had to run first to home in our first at-bat. I wasn’t too ready for that out of the chute. He’s a triples machine."

Dusty Baker on the Padres: "I watch (them) on SportsCenter, but all they show is grand slams and controversies so far. I know they got good talent ... They got good players, real good young players. They're probably where Houston was five or six years ago."

He's hit Richards well over a not-insubstantial number of ABs.

I don’t think that’s sustainable. It was more of a crap we have a ton of injuries comment.

Of course it's not sustainable. But, might as well milk it while they can

But according to Passan, it is the Yankees that have endured the most meaningful injuries.

They have though. If the Yankees don't get some health soon, they will buckle. The Astros may not be what they were, but I don't expect them to fall apart.
