The same folks that have fluctuated between approving and disapproving of Trump the last few years... those that don't watch a lick of news... and those that, without fail, can't decide who to vote for until the last minute. Honestly, how or why anyone would vote for Trump just baffles my mind, but they're out there. I canvassed a few years ago and could tell you some stories about undecideds and Trump voters.
I like Duckworth a lot but I don't understand why she shores up the Latino vote. She's neither Latino nor from a state that has a large Latino population. She would be my pick, though. That said, I'm fairly confident it will be Harris.
I think Biden's pick is very important because many of us see him as a one term President because of his age. The VP would be the presumptive 2024 candidate and the presumptive future of the Party. This is not a historical given or even common though I think. Warren and Bernie will have a lot to say about the party going forward as will The Squad after 2024.
Once again: 150,000 Americans are dead, the economy is in the tank, and the president is threatening Democracy.... But let’s make the vp’s record as a prosecutor the core issue because 10 years ago some people in California got sent to jail a big longer than they should have been (welcome to America) and because she had sex with a few dudes who are older and more powerful than she is. Seriously man your obsession with Kamala is bizarre. No she’s not my first pick but she’s perfectly capable, believes in Democracy, and has policies that I can get behind. If you’ll choose Trump because the VP f-ed a guy you don’t like 20 years ago it’s hard to take your opinion that serious... unless you just aren’t that serious to begin with.
And, what, 10 investigations that turned up nothing? I know you’re just making a general observation, but I think in light of everything that’s happening right now, the whole “BENGHAZI!!!!!” thing doesn’t have much muscle anymore . Not after all this time.
What's bizarre is your obsession with my opinion. What's also bizarre is the fact that you just can't accept anyone's opinion that doesn't jive with your own ... but that's typical these days where people don't want to hear someone else's opinion , they want to hear their own opinion come out of someone else's pie hole. Anyone but Kamala and I'll vote for Biden. Kamala and I'll vote for Mickey Mouse. Don't bother tryin ... I feel about your opinion the same way you feel about mine.
And not just all of those investigations, but the fact that Republicans finally declared they found no evidence of wrongdoing. But why let facts get in the way of shouting "Fake News!" every time one doesn't like the real news.
And, though no one should be okay with anyone dying unnecessarily, how many people died in the attack on the Benghazi attack again? And how many died on 9/11 (#neverforget)? And how many have died from covid-19?
I think it might be a different matter with Biden. His announcement re: one term makes his VP pick more important or at least appear that way. I think your point is usually true.
