Every day you learn how truly horrific trump and his admin is... using ICE and the immigration system to try to force colleges to offer in person classes and spread the COVID19. Somebody should sue. Truly awful. Foreign Students Attending Schools That Operate Online-Only This Fall Will Be Barred From the U.S. ICE is directing foreign students whose schools will operate online-only this fall to transfer institutions or leave the country – or face deportation proceedings. https://www.usnews.com/news/nationa...is-fall-will-be-barred-from-the-us?src=usn_tw
It's no wonder Australia has such low numbers of cases compared to us. They take action quickly, instead of waiting until things are out of control. We didn't learn from Italy, and we didn't learn from NYC. Victoria Australia (population 6.6 million) Coronavirus cases 2,663 / deaths 22 Harris County (population 4.6 million) Coronavirus cases 37,776 / deaths 401 Yesterday Victoria had 137 new cases, which sounded alarms to take action and prevent the spread. Meanwhile, Harris County had 1,179 new cases and not only is there no lockdown but the Governor wants to bring the State Republican Convention to our city in less than 2 weeks. If only we had a President who cared more about the spread than his reelection. To make matters worse we have Dan Paxton and Greg Abbott drinking his Kool-Aid on a daily basis. It's not a good time to be a Texan. Australia to reimpose six-week coronavirus lockdown in second largest city as country battles potential second wave By Nectar Gan and Angus Watson, CNN Updated 7:06 AM EDT, Tue July 07, 2020 https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/07/asia/melbourne-coronavirus-lockdown-intl-hnk/index.html Australia to seal off 6.6 million people in virus-hit state as outbreak worsens By Angus Watson and Nectar Gan, CNN Updated 10:53 PM EDT, Mon July 06, 2020 https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/06/asia/australia-victoria-coronavirus-intl-hnk/index.html
I'm sure that puts teachers, staff, and administrators in a horrible dilemma. Risk getting infected as Florida's numbers skyrocket or lose your job.
i guess wearing a giant costume for hours through a 100+ F heat index doesn't sound that bad when you're wearing the Happiest Mask On Earth.
People who pay to go there to entertain themselves and their kids there are just selfish and stupid. A Governor who doesn't force virus spreading places of entertainment down to stupid and selfish people as their state loses control of the spread is just a spineless, brainless jellyfish of a man. Stop the spread!

Wait........ I am confused...... so Texas set a record yesterday for fatalities from COVID? I thought folks were not dying from this in Texas? It is almost like an increase in people with COVID in Texas causes an increase in deaths after a lag for treatment efforts...... Are you telling me that as the number of patients in the ER increases that the number of Texan's dying from COVID will as well? Why didn't anyone see this coming? Why didn't the experts tell people like the President and the Governor that this would happen? I am flabbergasted, there is no way anyone could have seen this coming..... What we need are people that make it their life passion to study this type of thing and then provide informed opinions and guidance.
Here comes bigtexxxx.... "Lowest death on a Tuesday since ....... wait, 783 deaths today? This doesn't fit my narrative. I'm not going to post anything about deaths today..."
I can name a few who didn't see it coming, but we all know who they are. Somehow I doubt they didn't know it would happen anyway. They just don't really care.
