Yes until November... just like Texas IIRC

August and September are peak months.

Orlando / Kissimmee is fairly inland tho

Is this an allusion to improper spending allocation (a legitimate argument), or is this a misunderstanding of the national debt as it relates to population and gdp?

so JR Smith gets 2 rings before Harden. That's pathetic. (Lakers are winning the title this year, don't fool yourself)

Explaining Modern Monetary Theory to Spencer Dinwiddie is not high on the list unfortunately

I'm not sure about that. The Lakers could come back much worse. 5 months is a hell of a long time in basketball; players could be out of form for a while, and they may not even get that form back they were showing 5 or 6 months ago.

That could be a cop out excuse, just saying i got covid, and honestly i dont blame a few players, i mean what is the point of finishing this season? Just give Lebron his stupid trophy and call it a season.

I think all the contenders are at least seriously focused on winning, I think they might come back worse but honestly not by much.

Not for the lack of trying.

Goes for the Bucks too but they were on a losing streak before the break.

Players could be out of form, but the refs won’t be.

Wonder why he isn't going back now, if he's already positive. Should be recovered in plenty of time.

The prospect of competing as a low seed plus with your 2 stars being out, isn't overwhelmingly attractive I would think.

8 games and 1st round appearance.

Well, our closest comparison is 99. Shortened season where a #8 got all the way into the finals right? Were the knicks a #8, I remember that season always gets an underdog mention for the Sprewell team that lost Ewing right before the finals.

So, yes, Lebron and Giannis are #1 and #2 favorites, but as far as I'm concerned we have the #3 guy on the list and a shorter playoff could mean money for us if we get hot from 3.

Coach has already been fired, two stars are hurt, third of the team has opted out, Nets are like whatever... ;)
    And I don't blame 'em.

That's like dragging the 15-16 Rockets there.
