The person who I would say is maybe the most influential in terms of creating the architecture for what a Trump president would do in power has laid out that he views exactly what the Trump regime is doing to be "Leninist". The entire premise of Trumpism is destroying the "Deep STATE". Taking the bureaucracy of government, and pulling down those institutions which the followers of this ideology would believe are hindering the government and society from working against their interests and in the interests of the STATE. This is in theory what Trump cult followers like Daschuda think they want, or what they think they are getting. A destruction of our institutions that then can be re-created to align more to their interests... it's on that the interests of the Daschuda's and the Commodores, and the Bobby's of this country that don't align to the majority of Americans which is where this theory of "Destroying the Deep State" falls flat on its face. The "DEEP STATE" in the United States TYPICALLY (not always... see policing for example) works in the interest of the American citizen. Where the Daschuda's and really the Steve Bannon's of our country are wrong is they want to take Leninism, and use it to create an Ultra Conservative Utopia... which is NOT the will of the majority (Democracy) and also Donald Trump, their flag bearer, is not actually bought into the ideology one bit. His only ideology is Donald Trump and giving himself dictatorial power. So this experiment of Leninism by Bannon and the Trump cult is a MASSIVE FAILURE and is just creating chaos with no reward for the American people, and actually punishing the American people quite a bit with the installment of a two bit wannabe dictator. ..................... Marxism is nothing more than a theory for which the citizens have the largest stake in the institutions of government or public institutions. Activists like those who organize for BLM are not wrong for being aligned to some of the same beliefs in societal and government ownership by the people. With Marxism even corporations would need to be owned by normal citizens, and it's a theory of a designed system where there is shared ownership and public stake in pretty much all things. These "publicly traded" companies wouldn't be owned and controlled by Oligarchs. They'd have a large enough percentage owned by the low level workers to where the CEO couldn't just take tax break money and buy back stocks without the line workers having a say in those type of decisions. As a theory, Marxism is actually very well thought of. Communism is the form of government that the Soviet Union formed that held up Marxism as its guiding principle doctrine, but that doesn't mean that Communist countries like the Soviet Union and now China as acting in alignment with Marxist principles. Communism has often led to dictatorship which is why it's often undesirable, and has had universal rebuke in our modern history for good reasons. Socialism is still practiced widely across the world, and of course Democracy is the gold standard but hard to maintain obviously. Here's the big part that people should really care about: We are on the verge of losing Democracy now because there are many many foolish people like the posters we know here who are self interested and are willing to destroy Democracy (or majority rules) and opt for Dictatorship in order to get their desired outcomes (mostly White controlled Conservative Utopia). This is a Problem folks. Those are the simple facts. It's stunning the level of ignorance by the very same people who are themselves aspiring to be Leninists themselves.
Nah. I had debates with people who disagreed. What you are doing is trolling. Marxism is the notion that private property shouldn't exist. What you are doing is labeling anything that doesn't follow your world view as Marxist.

My thoughts on the reforms and actions needed to solve police authoritarianism and racism along with black poverty and crime are still completely the same and one person calling themselves a Marxist seems like nothing worth having a discussion over.
