lol Hopkins was hurt and played hurt. Bill O'Brien is the head coach. If he wanted him to practice hurt, he should have said so. That's BS. How many reports do we have of JJ Watt nursing an injury and missing practice? smh Jalen Ramsey was constantly in trouble in Jacksonville, went for 2 1sts. Khalil Mack was talking about he hadn't even talked to his head coach at all, he went for 2 firsts. Stefon Diggs just about threw his QB under the bus, he went for a 1st. Both Clowney and Hopkins never leaked anything, no scandals and no serious infractions. If you're talking about Clowney not showing up until preseason because they wouldn't sign him, then you are against something that was collectively bargained. And pretty much the only leverage players have in contract disputes.
I'm just telling you BOB wants guys who will practice and not b!tch about their contract until time for an extension is due.
You say practice like these players just avoided practice. When they could practice, they did. So what excuse do we have for the WR who misses practices AND games. Why isn't he traded?
I didn't say this at all. I'm just telling you what BOB expects from the players on HIS team. You can except this or not. I'm not trying to be argumentative
Even though I feel like we had a bad offseason and have mostly wasted Watkin's valuable rookie years, I feel optimistic about this team being better than last year. I think the Superbowl goes through the AFC's Chiefs or Ravens, but maybe we can lose in the AFC championship.
I hear what you are saying and I'm presenting examples showing that isnt consistent. Fuller, Watt, and evm Tunsil who he just paid miss practice. I know for sure he had something against those two players;we just dont know what.
One of the posters here has said he found out through a minority owner that there were issues with ownership that didn't involve BOB. I wonder if this had to do with Watson/Nuk's relationship and ownership wanting to get Nuk away from Watson and Nuk's partying lifestyle?
Almost all of these guys are young millionaires that are going to party. You're kidding yourself to believe otherwise.
And it's not like Hopkins was Harden-like. He liked fashion, music, traveling and soccer. Aside from dressing weird, he was a role model. Only thing you can say is that he wasn't a huge philanthropist like JJ Watt is. But how many players in the league are. Just a waste.
