Rona was enough of a mind ****. This is equally a mind ****. Two negatives, equals a positive. Watching this will un-mind **** the mind **** and solve all the worlds problems. Im with B-bob.
My prediction: There is a belief that in heaven time is moving backwards, cataclysmically, toward life, and restoring chaos to order. Some believe the dead will merge with the living. But it's worse. If these two meet and time stands still, the laws of physics will break down. Someone with a near death experience saw what was happening in the after life and warns us. And this guy is being sent in to remedy the situation. But he can't be alive, or dead, he has to find the middle where time is going neither forward, nor backward. When he gets there, and he will get there, he will discover the meaning of life and death. Our purpose. But it will be too late for him to pass the knowledge on. Time collides. And that's how it all begins.
1st noticed her in The Man from Uncle, had to research her after the Night Manager as one to watch and I just watched her in the most unflattering thing I have watched her in with The Kettering Incident and was hooked. She is just sexy as hell.
Now that I know who she is, I can honestly say I have been unknowing attracted to her in several movies, including the great Gatsby. She is wielding something powerful because even in gold, and 1920's apparel, she's oozing sexuality.
Can't wait for this movie. Not going to see it in the theaters in this environment, but looking forward to seeing it eventually
Yeah so is this going to die off in theaters because of the rona? I don't really want to watch the trailers because I want to see it, but I also don't want to go into a giant sneezefest cough room. They are just going to release in theaters and hope for the best?
Might be trial balloon for summer Blockbuster. If it tanks, they can always open the stream gates. This and Mulan are expected to be the anchors for other movies but no one really knows.
I thought she was great in Widows, a tiny bit of comic relief in some scenes, which the movie needed.
I loved the part "Meet Christopher Nolan's protagonist. A white guy in a nice suit with slicked back hair... Like Christopher Nolan."
I hadn't picked up on his penchant for killing wives and gfs...I cracked up when after they said "...and you work with your wife as they show her on video "the voiceover says "run".
I thought it was underrated/overlooked. Lots of good performances with solid dialogue. Good villains. It’s actually more a movie about the bad guys than the good women.
The name makes a lot more sense after seeing the original logo: That logo and the palendromic "Tenet" really convey the forward/backward time thing. Unfortunatley, there was a bike company with a similar name and logo and both the bike company and Warner Brothers started posturing defensively to protect themselves from the other and the logo was the casualty. It didnt even occur to me that the word tenet was a palindrome until I saw that logo.
I'm such a sucker for Christopher Nolan movies. I'll be there, opening night, for this movie. Rona or no.
