Strange it says average per year is $22 million yet the salary-cap figures are: $14.1M, $19.4M, $21.1M, $21.75M.
    Not even 1 year at/over $22 mil.

They must be anticipating deducting $5 for every false start he commits!
    Sounds about right.

Atleast this stops the what if Tunsil doesn't re-sign crowd.

Have you not been paying attention?

The OBie haters will just switch to the Tunsil-got-overpaid crowd.

So Tunsil is not overpaid? He's getting paid $6M more than the second highest paid player at his position and he's only been to one pro bowl. He's damn near getting paid QB money.

Now, I do agree Texans had no choice.

3yr/$66mil extension on top of current year's $10mil that he's scheduled to make on his 5th year option is how you got that number. The Texans basically lost $4mil of capspace this offseason through this extension. Which is kinda ironic given their win-now attitude.

A 4 year average of $19 million is not QB money.

You do realize that the 5th year option was basically torn up they way the money was structured? He got a big signing bonus this year and his cap figure was structured over 4 years. Nice try though.

The real question is do these powers start before after the ball is snapped.

Is Laremy Tunsil playing like the highest paid LT in NFL history?

Texans protection issues are going from the Right side...not the Left.

And from the middle, and from the left...but other than that they're a run/pass blocking machine.
