btw: Rubio was missing from Sun Kings ... poor 'holic Divac of Sun Kings to Luka: "We don't need you." Sun Kings have both picks taken over Luka...haha I thought Barkley's Angola quote should have come before the Sun Kings charge. Jokic not touching the sexual innuendo joke, after being fined for his "no homo, he's longer than you expect." joke
Is it just me or is it annoying seeing talking heads get so much play this season of the clips? See enough of their real faces on tv already. Not cute or funny unless they are going to cut them into pieces and feed them to the dogs.
the kobe/lebron scene is perfect. kobe the older guy, the one with unshakable confidence, the ferocious drive, the one who always thought that he should be the chosen one but just never had the gifts, putting aside his bitterness for the good of the realm to talk to the true chosen one who nevertheless can't shake his own doubts that he'll ever fulfill the destiny he's been told about his whole life.
were those auto-generated subtitles. Is that even enough syllables. The two words I'm most confident in are James and Sir. "Wait up Mr James, Sir. Wait up. Wait up." It's fun they had kashi call him Sir.
i rewatched seasons 5 and 6. for some reason the eyeless analytics "computer" turning to melo and, with no context, plainly stating "you don't have a good VORP" just kills me.
fwiw: In Season 4, Kawliflower is a White Walker standing behind a seated Pops, the Night King. Kashi on one side and Ginobody on another, as Durant discusses possibly converting. So, somehow, Kawaii became human again.
Finale is tomorrow. I never watched Game of Thrones, but apparently Zones follows a story line from there. If it holds true, the Dream Team will be defeated by Team Nightmare. And LeBron will get help from someone. Perhaps Ray Allen so says a random YouTube comment. I can see LeBron conquering. He sure needs a win.
Apparently fans of Game of Thrones and Game of Zones loved this because Zones' ending mocked Thrones' ending. Wutevs... loved the references either way and will watch a few more times to catch them all. Rudy touch his face... Where's the foul... Russell you launch bricks from deep... Chris punch him in the dong...
I thought it was a decent finale because Thrones ending was terrible. Hope they recharge with a new series and material. It was getting flat but had its moments.
It shows the silliness of the final debate on who would be the ruler of the 7 kingdoms in Game of Thrones ending, but wouldn't call it a mockery per se. It's definitely like the ending though. As for the episode, liked how Harden was seemingly hogging the ball for quite some time there and that nut punch line was awesome. Which Chris? Jordan Farmar and the goat joke was alright, loved Hinkie in the dungeon given how that one special episode he was taken away. The roles for the various players was a bit too obvious, but the Melo one had great timing so that worked. Bill Russell's voice in that final debate was great and everyone's face when Lebron declared himself the goat. Paul Pierce is portrayed well so it's an acceptable ending. However, I'd wish they had strayed a bit more from GoT and formed their own ending, but this one is always the most difficult. I think after last episode I expected like a 20 minute laugh fest, but it makes sense it was more serious. I do hope they have one more trick up their sleeves, an epilogue at some point. There must be something in all those seasons left unfinished that they could focus on.
He is the Truth after all. One truth of the medal. Also Maester Hinkie over Maester Morley? Yep, Daenerys dies, Jon Snow doesn't inherit the throne, Bran becomes the king out of merit. Bran is Pierce in this.
You guys thinking this series finale was dumb missed the joke. GOT had probably the worst season in the history of seasons. Game of Zones parodied that to perfection IMO. I believe that was the joke. The greatest battle to ever take place couldn't be seen at all The Truth becoming the GOAt out of no where and no reaction from Lebron The rushed ending It was all intentional.
The ending was genius. Not only did they get to skirt the shitstorm of taking a side in the Jordan v LeBron debate but they beautifully parodied the completely illogical ending of GoT itself. The creators talk about it on the Lowe Post and at first they only wanted to have Paul Pierce as Bran for the ******** his shorts jokes but then everything fell into place cause he's probably one of the most delusional ex players when it comes to viewing their own legacy. Also big props cause apparently the two creators voice every single character in the show themselves lol.
