The '80's were my nephew's decade. He's 49 now. Too weird.

 

Man, there was some amazing music in the 80’s. Had to search for some of the great stuff. Don’t let 80’s radio fool you.

 

The only reason I like Tears for Fears is Donnie Darko

 

Best era in my opinion. Everything was so upbeat and happy.

 

There was a ton of really cool dance stuff in that era. I’ve posted a lot in other threads. 80’s is so much more than what was heard on popular radio.

Hard for me to pick a favorite era because they offered different things, but that one left a massive impact on my life.

 

Best era, true, but have you ever listened to industrial music? lol.

 

I loved Tears for Fears. They have some awesome 80's anthems. Here's one from before they were Tears for Fears in their group Graduate (they're talking about Elvis Costello, btw). There's also a live version of the song from back then where the fashion will give you 80's flashbacks :
