Can the Westbrook truthers now at least acknowledge how damn hard it is to win when your 1st or 2nd highest volume scorer is terribly inefficient? Westbrook....Harden.... doesn’t matter who. It’s a tall task to make up for that volume of inefficiency. Lucky for us Harden has a career worth of evidence to show this can’t last much longer.
I agree. I think one of two things is in play during the month of January: Either he's got a beef with a teammate (or coach) that has yet to be resolved OR something big is going on in his personal life that he's bringing with him on the court every night. Harden regularly has bad streaks, but they usually last 3-5 games. This one is starting to get ugly, but it's somewhat hidden by the fact that Harden can drop 30 on a bad night.
Harden cannot get 40 plus Houston is unable to win. Our bench sucks. MDA should let Harden to shoot more first. That is the formula
i don't hate harden but is he a system player how is it that gordon scores 50 in the very first game he's the #1 option with westbrook and harden out
You do know that, in his prime, Gordon was arguable the 3-4 best at his position. Don’t think that just because MDA has him launching 30 ft shots almost exclusively that Eric isn’t capable of more.
Gordon was lights out last night, but get back to me when Gordon is systematically getting double and triple teamed on possessions, and forced to make quick decisions with the basketball.
what is surprising he didnt have a lot of turnovers, its usually a turnover if he has to make more than 2 dribbles
Great logic. Well said. Michael Jordan is a system player because other players scored 50 with Phil Jackson’s system. Steph Curry is a system player because Klay Thompson has scored 50 with Steve Kerr. Lebron James is a system player because Kyrie Irving scored 50 one time.
I think it's pretty clear that this was an outlier performance. There are a lot of players who CAN score 50 if the coach lets them take 35+ possessions, but most players aren't allowed to do that. Gordon obviously had a great game, but if you put him as the #1 option for 82 games his numbers are not going to be anywhere near this on any kind of regular basis. The thing that makes stars great is not just the ability to do this, but to do it consistently. Vernon Maxwell once scored 50 points once when Hakeem was out. Do you think he should have been the #1 option over Hakeem? Was Hakeem a system player?
Maxwell would score 70 in today's NBA without no hand check. Someone bumping a HARDEN THREAD cause Eric Gordon scored 50 IS THE REAL ISSUE. NEWB STUPIDITY @Jontro
Will the utter stupidity ever end on here? Holy sh*t. U just asked if Harden is a system player. Stop the low IQ trolling.
it’s getting out of hand...there seems to be more idiots/trolls than rational/intelligent/not clueless posters the dumbest posts you see on Instagram, Twitter, FB, Youtube, etc, you’ll also find on here in abundance
