[Hall of Farmer Tracy McGrady] Westbrook is the Rockets best player right now

James has been playing hurt, and RW has gotten healthy/acclimated...along with being able to play his game under the circumstances. We're witnessing a pretty damn good Westbrook, now. Offensively AND defensively.

 

Harden's already had at least 10+ 'Tmac moment' so that can't be it.

I wasn’t convinced of his lack of effort until this last game. Always gave him the benefit of the doubt - this season has been unwatchable so you’re probably spot on with respect to me missing it sooner.

 

Don't worry brother - the vast majority of us have pushed his lack of effort and dedication aside in the past (myself 100% included)

It's becoming glaringly obvious as time goes on though.

Can't recall who we were playing but it's been in this recent losing streak - he had 5,6,7,8 god knows how many possessions where he was in the action on defense and he didn't even ATTEMPT to stop the guy going right around him - just turned around watched. That was it for me. That's the moment I knew we aren't going to where we want to go with Harden, unfortunately. Even though there's been numerous, numerous examples of that exact thing in the past - I like others had chosen to ignore it.
