Yeah, we watched it last night. Great episode. I loved the board game scene, the scene when Jared returns but the kid who assists Richard is a boss now.
So...what was that? I expected a total disaster ending but...does Jen Yang have the thumbdrive? I'm so confused and bummed it's over but thought the last episode could have been a lot better. Loved seeing Gilfoyle and Danesh never separate though lol.
Tj miller is a horrible person and very difficult. Would show up hungover or late to set. Crew got pissed.
I liked the mockumentary style show as a way to jump back and forth from different times. It makes narrative sense too that they would ultimately have that type of ending. Dinesh really owned the episode imo. Definitely not the most funny of seasons but found it to be a really satisfying ending. I think the “who has the thumb drive” question is supposed to be ambiguous but the most obvious answer would seem to be Gavin imo.
Gilfoyle Danesh and JArrod have been carrying the show for a couple of years. Why was Monica (?) in Prison? Did they say? Jiyang probably has the drive - His character got old quickly though Rocket River
I enjoyed the finale and, after reading the comments, the season as a whole more than some others. The plot stopped "moving" years ago and I was tuning in for the hijinks and writing. A few scenes this season - Jared finally snapping chief among them - stand out and satisfied me. But, maybe it's because I work in tech. I enjoyed seeing Jian-Yang take a Col. Kurtz turn in the jungle and Dinesh and Gilfoyle tied to each other for life. My thumb drive bet is Monica; she totally took it and gave it to the NSA.
That wasn't Monica. It was Laurie. I agree that Jin-Yang probably is the one that has it but I guess we'll never know. I thought it was a great way to wrap it up. Gave closure on everyone (except why Laurie is in prison) and it stayed true to the theme.
