Embarrassing series so far. Bunch of complacent fakkits at the plate.

Two batters too late in hindsight. Of course two runs won’t do it

Lets not give up hope. Strasburg is done. Rodney is definitely shaky. We still get the last at bat..

We must have men on first and second with two outs at least 50 times this postseason and we can’t get them home.

Only way this team scores is with a home run.

They are batting fine, they get on base...and that's where it stops, unfortunately.

They just can't make their hits count.

I know it sucks to leave men stranded but it's better than having no hits at all. Hopefully, they get on base again and someone, anyone, pulls through with the big hit.

I don’t usually question Hinch, but agree.

Astros about to be up against pretty steep odds if they don’t come back.

What's the stat? 0-58 or so when behind after 7 innings this season... No time like the present to change that

To be honest, the Nats are the better team right now. We have been in a two week batting slump and are lucky to have gotten this far. Such a wasted season...maybe 2020

Not looking good. The hitters clearly not getting out of their mental funk. Its a shame. A great team that caught a disease at the wrong time. It’s 100% mental at this point and we are letting an inferior team kick our ass in our park. The hitters are mentally defeated with runners on base. It’s baseball impotence that we are witnessing. All playoffs.

Washington just has that feel, that swagger, that fun determination that reminds me of our 2017 squad. It's like the Red Sox last year. And the Astros are fighting hard just to tread water. Please turn this around guys. Still time.

There’s a day off tomorrow and you have three reliable guys who have shown to step up when it matters in Joe Smith, Will Harris, and Ryan Presley.
