Stop treating people into groups. I'm not some general "you guys". Fans can be pessimistic when they had high hopes for a high powered offense during the regular season struggling immensely in the playoffs.
Jesus, just shut the f#%k up already, Joe. I refuse to believe Vin Scully or Jon Miller would be this excruciating to listen to, even watching the Astros get dominated.
What nuances have you been expressing? There is an optimistic take and a pessimistic take. The pessimistic take is the Astros bats are hesitant, watching pitches they should be swinging at and getting behind counts where they have to start chasing. They have to change their approach. I genuinely believe the pressure of being the "favorite" is set in their heads.
Dont forget we have a unproven rookie for game 4 with a shaky bullpen. Tomorrow is a must win. Its as simple as that. Tomorrow our team needs to lay everything on the line.
Well, Greinke did his job. 3 runs in 6 innings against this offense? No fault there. Pressly's just never been the same since the injury. What a shame. James is doing nice things. At least the pitchers on this team want to win.
Just looking at too many strikes, some of them right over the plate too. They look a little spooked out there, let's hope th[ey get over whatever is affecting them.
I personally really liked your post where you said the Astros can only hit if they can steal signs. That's quality stuff.
Glad we didn't waste a Verlander or Cole gem... It would be even more disheartening to lose 1-0 with those 2 guys pitching..
Going from the Rays heat to Tanaka's slop may have befuddled them a bit, dunno. I do know he pitched a hell of a game. But it's just one game.
Has this postseason made you consider that not being the case. They have had one inning this post season that resembled a rally and it was when the opposing starter was tipping pitches.
