My buddies and I walked into the April @ Seattle series and they were 13-2. We swept their ass and they have never recovered.
This is legitimately the best I’ve ever seen anyone pitch. Please keep this man in Houston. His stuff is so nasty...reminds me of Pedro
So, here's an interesting fact I've been sitting on since I saw JV beat the Mariners. My mom always keeps score, so I spent a decent amount of time with the team rosters helping her get the substitutions right. Daniel Vogelbach is, of course, an overstuffed bratwurst of a man. He's 6'0", 250 lbs. There's an Astros who weighs that much. Who do you think it is? It's Will Freakin' Harris. Harris is 6'4", 250 lbs. (By comparison, Yordan is 6'5", 225lbs.) But Harris doesn't look pudgy at all. Yeah, he's a little more stretched out than Vogelbach, but that's not what's going on here. Harris is an absolute tank. You'd probably break your hand slapping him on the back too hard. He could probably moonlight on the Texans' O-line and bring it up to snuff.
The thing about Bregman is that he really plays like someone that's trying to make wins happen for his team. When the team is not scoring, he goes out there with it on his mind that he will make runs happen. Even if he has to hit one out. You can just tell. Yet, it's not coupled with potentially poor batting choices like a Springer or Altuve. He'll still take the walk, but he'll go for the HR if his pitcher needs a lead. He makes himself valuable.
